SUSIE A. HALL
SMITHFIELD – Susie Anna Hall, 71, died Wednesday, Oct. 10, in Riverside Regional Medical Center.
A native of Gloucester County, she had been a lifelong Tidewater resident.
Survivors include two daughters, Dorothy Nicholson of Lehigh, Fla., and Cathy Paul of Smithfield; three sons, Thomas H. Hall Jr. of Poquoson, William B. Hall of Franklin and Michael Ray Hall of Smithfield; two sisters, Louise Barrett of Hampton and Ruby Heywood of Missouri; a brother, Frank Heywood of Deltaville; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home, Hampton, by the Rev. G. Thornton Hall. Burial will follow in Parklawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 tonight at the funeral home.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the American Heart Association, 732 Thimble Shoals Blvd., Newport News 23606.
