ZELDA E. WEINSTEIN

NEWPORT NEWS – Zelda E. Weinstein, 76, died Monday, Oct. 9, in Riverside Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Weinstein was a lifelong resident of Newport News. She was vice president of Riverdale Delicatessen, and a member of Rodef Sholom Temple and its Sisterhood. She was a former member of Hadassah.

Survivors include her husband, Allen D. Weinstein; three sons, Harvey E. Weinstein of Newport News, Louis M. Weinstein of Hampton, and Burt L. Weinstein of Norfolk; a sister, Rose Weiss of North Carolina; a brother, Yale Erlach of Williamsburg; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. today in Rosenbaum Cemetery by Rabbi Steven Lindemann.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Leukemia Society of America Inc., 2101 Executive Drive, Hampton 23666.

Peninsula Funeral Home is in charge.
